The drawing surface roughness of stainless steel hollow profiles is generally 90 mesh, 120 mesh, 160 mesh, 180 mesh, 240 mesh, 320 mesh, and 400 mesh.
The drawing surface of stainless steel hollow profiles can be described by the surface roughness parameter Ra. The larger the Ra value, the rougher the drawing surface. There is a certain relationship between the roughness mesh number and the Ra value. The Ra index corresponding to 400 mesh is 0.1 to 0.2 μm, the Ra index corresponding to 350 mesh is 0.2 to 0.3 μm, the Ra index corresponding to 300 mesh is 0.3 to 0.4 μm, and the Ra index corresponding to 250 mesh is 0.3 to 0.4 μm. The Ra index corresponding to the mesh is 0.4 to 0.6μm, and the Ra index corresponding to the 200 mesh is 0.6 to 0.8μm. When drawing stainless steel hollow profiles on the surface, if you choose different types of sandpaper, different sandpapers will form different textures. For example, if the type of sandpaper is larger, the sand grains will be finer and the texture will be shallower. If the sand grains are finer, the model will be smaller and the texture will be deeper, so make notes on the construction drawings.
The surface drawing of stainless steel hollow profiles must be drawn according to the direction. If it needs to be clearly noted on the engineering drawing whether straight or horizontal grains are used, double arrows need to be used to mark it to ensure normal construction in the later stage.
During the drawing process of stainless steel hollow profiles, it is necessary to ensure that there are no raised parts on the drawing surface, so as not to affect the overall effect. If there are raised parts, they need to be flattened.
