A stainless steel stud is a fastener made of stainless steel with threads at both ends or one end, used to connect two or more parts with through holes or internal threads.
Stud stud:
Both ends are threaded, and it is the most common type of stainless steel stud. When in use, one end is screwed into the internal threaded hole of the connected part, and the other end is passed through the through hole of the other connected part, and then tightened with a nut to fasten the two connected parts together. It is often used in places where the connected parts are thick, need to be disassembled frequently, or have high connection strength requirements, such as bridges, steel structures, and installation of large mechanical equipment.
Single-head stud:
Also known as a single-head bolt or stud weld, one end is threaded and the other end is usually a smooth head. The single-head stud can be fixed to a part by welding, riveting, etc., and then connected to another part by thread. It is often used in some places where there are space restrictions or single-sided connection is required, such as car bodies, electronic equipment, etc.
304 stainless steel studs: have good corrosion resistance, heat resistance and processing performance, suitable for general machinery manufacturing, construction, decoration and other fields. For example, 304 stainless steel studs are often used to fix various components in the connection of building curtain walls.
316 stainless steel studs: Compared with 304 stainless steel, 316 stainless steel contains molybdenum, which makes it more resistant to chloride corrosion and is often used in chemical industry, marine engineering and other environments with high corrosion resistance requirements. For example, 316 stainless steel studs are used in seawater desalination equipment, offshore oil platforms and other facilities.
316L stainless steel studs: It is a low-carbon version of 316 stainless steel. After welding, it can reduce the tendency of intergranular corrosion and is suitable for occasions where welding is required and corrosion resistance is required.
